The conversation would follow a simple three-act narrative:

Act I: From AI Features to AI-Native Products
How organisations are moving beyond adding AI features to fundamentally redesigning products around intelligence.
I’ll also bring in some of my own experiences, including AI-friendly software development, enterprise search using Claude/MCP, and using AI capabilities across business analysis, design, market analysis, architecture and PRD review.

Act II: From Copilots to AI Employees
How agentic AI and connected enterprise systems could move AI from assisting people to performing meaningful pieces of work.
We’ll explore the emerging role of the Product Manager as an AI orchestrator, coordinating human expertise, AI specialists and enterprise systems.

Act III: Product Nirvana and the Post-Efficiency Era
What happens if AI eventually makes research, design, development, experimentation and operations dramatically faster and cheaper?
My hypothesis is that we may reach a point where efficiency and cost optimisation become increasingly commoditised.

That is what I mean by the Post-Efficiency Era: a world where execution becomes abundant, and competitive advantage shifts toward judgement, intent, context, trust, taste and knowing what is worth building.

This leads to the central question for the conversation:
If AI eventually makes building products dramatically cheaper, faster and more autonomous, what becomes the real job of Product Management?
