Kickoff Meet & Greet

Let’s get this community started!

Join us for the very first meetup of the Houston Beginner Photographers group — an easygoing, informal gathering to meet fellow members, talk photography, and start building the creative community we’re all here for.

This meetup is all about connection and conversation. You’ll have the chance to meet others who are brand new to photography, share what brought you here, and help shape the direction of future events and workshops.

We’ll be meeting at Cre8tive Minds Studios, where we may spend a little time playing around with some of the photo sets and lighting setups. Bring your camera (or even your phone) if you’d like to test a few shots and get hands-on.

Please bring a folding chair or picnic chair if you have one. The studio has some seating available, but it may not be enough for everyone.

Dress nicely but comfortably — you might even find yourself in front of the lens as we practice a few casual portraits!

There’s no pressure, no competition, and no experience required — just good energy, friendly faces, and a shared love for learning photography.
