The Houston Bitcoin Meetup is open to all who want to learn and discuss bitcoin, whether you’re in the industry or just hearing about bitcoin for the first time. We'll look back at the events over the past month to start as usual. Then we'll be discussing the question of quantum computing (and the potential risks to bitcoin, which are often overstated) with Nate from Voltage and we'll also lean on a number of local experts to discuss the rising trend of public companies issuing convertible debt to acquire bitcoin as part of a corporate treasury strategy, including bitcoin miners.
Come and learn about the latest developments in bitcoin, especially mining and its relationship with the energy industry. Good food and cold beer provided.
Location note: The Digital Wildcatters office is in the smaller gray building located to the left of The Cannon. The entrance is on the right side of the building under the solid black awning with a single door. You will see the DW logo.
