Houston Bitcoin Meetup #43

The Houston Bitcoin Meetup is open to all who want to learn and discuss bitcoin, whether you’re in the industry or just hearing about bitcoin for the first time. We'll review the most recent and relevant developments in the bitcoin world over the past month to start as usual. Then we'll be hosting a discussion with Dr. Elly Pembroke on the implications of quantum computing for bitcoin.

Quantum computing has been a hot button topic of late with the rise of AI so this month's topic is very timely and we're excited to welcome Elly. For those not familiar, Elly holds a PhD in Nanotechnology from Rice University and will help demystify the risk associated with quantum computing and how bitcoin as a network is protected today (and will logically advance in the future to remain secure)!
