Aurora Trio presents: Music, She Wrote
Details
Join Houston Classical Music Lovers for an inspiring afternoon/evening of chamber music celebrating the creativity, brilliance, and legacy of women composers.
Aurora Trio presents Music, She Wrote, a concert featuring an eclectic array of duos and trios by Florence Price, Stella Sung, Henriette Renié, and other remarkable women whose voices have helped shape the classical music tradition. Set inside the beautiful and intimate surroundings of Archway Gallery, this program offers a wonderful opportunity to experience music that is expressive, imaginative, and too often underrepresented on the concert stage.
This concert is especially fitting as Archway Gallery celebrates 50 years as the longest-running artist-owned and operated gallery in Texas. Come early or stay after to enjoy the artwork, celebrate this Houston arts landmark, and take in an afternoon/evening of beautiful music.
Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. A reception will follow the concert.
Come support local chamber music, celebrate women composers, and enjoy a memorable cultural outing with fellow classical music lovers.
