Dining Rooms: Traditional, Multifunctional, or Gone Out of Style?

Details

Contemporary home design has moved away from dining rooms in favor of open plans, great rooms, breakfast nooks, and other concepts. But some of us still live with formal dining rooms—or at least the furniture that went with them. In this meeting, we’ll explore the changing role of dining rooms and how families incorporate dining-room functionality in modern homes and lifestyles.

We’ve prepared a survey to learn about our audience’s experiences related to this episode’s topic. To answer the survey, please see Survey #253: Dining Rooms—What Are They Good For?

The Clutter Fairy Weekly is a live webcast designed to help you clear your clutter and make space in your home and your life for more of what you love. We meet Tuesdays at noon (U.S. Central Time) to answer your decluttering questions and to share organizing tools and techniques, success stories and “ah-hah!” moments, seasonal suggestions, and timeless tips.

We meet using the Zoom video-conferencing app, a free tool that allows the audience to share questions and comments live online or over the phone. Up to 100 people can participate live via the Zoom app. We also live-stream the meetings on our Facebook page and record each event to post on our YouTube channel:

Professional organizer Gayle Goddard, owner of The Clutter Fairy in Houston, Texas, hosts the weekly webcast with support from producer and jack-of-all-trades Ed Gumnick.

Join the meeting from PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android by clicking the link below. If you’ve never used Zoom before, your device will download a small, free app that will enable you to participate. (Zoom is very easy to use, but we suggest clicking the link a few minutes before the meeting starts to download the app and take a look around the interface. The next time you join a meeting, you won’t have to download the app again.)

You can also call in by phone at 669-900-6833 (meeting ID: 993 419 863, password: clutter). (Long-distance toll charges may apply.)

We hope you’ll join us!
