NOTE: This group is limited to people who are fully vaccinated for Covid 19, because events are held in people’s homes and other indoor settings.
This is a group for anyone interested in getting together with friends to do paper crafts, fibers work (knitting, crochet, needlepoint, beading, etc.), making jewelry or any other kind of "portable" project. I will also occasionally post classes or museum visits that we can attend together.
I started this group to meet friends in central Houston who love to chat while doing their favorite craft projects. I'm fairly new to Houston and still working on making friends, after a year "off" because of Covid safety concerns. But now I'm fully vaccinated, so I'm ready to host crafting events at my home or other places with other people who are vaccinated. I live in the Montrose area, so hopefully it's pretty central for most people. If you have a project that you can do in few feet of space at a table and want to hang out, come join us at an event soon.
