Is DSCR loans too good to be true?

With DSCR loans, the lender trusts your investment strategy instead of making you jump through hoops with a bunch of hoops just to get a "no" at the end, like with those traditional mortgages.

Sure, there are some tradeoffs. Higher interest rate (around 1.5-2%)? Yes, slightly. A 5-year prepayment penalty? Often negotiable down to 3 years.

Still, in short, DSCR loans are a shortcut for savvy investors who want quick turnarounds and strong upfront cash flow for their rental properties.
