About us
Whether you’re planting your first seed or somehow managing a backyard jungle, this is a welcoming group for anyone in Houston who likes growing things or just wants to hang out with people who do.
We’re a mix of curious beginners, experienced gardeners/homesteaders, and plant experimenters who are into growing things in any form: veggies, herbs, houseplants, fruit trees, flowers, native plants, or whatever you’ve managed to keep alive lately. The goal is simple: meet other plant lovers, swap tips and seeds, share stories of triumph and tragic plant deaths, and form connections with people who understand your obsession with leaves.
Meetups will be a mix of casual hangouts, plant and seed swaps, garden visits or classes, and hands-on activities. Nothing too formal; just a fun space to talk plants, laugh at our mistakes, and make friends along the way.
No pressure, no expertise required. Killed a plant? You’re one of us. Have too many plants? You’re definitely one of us. Killed a lot of plants and have too many plants? You’re probably an expert; please join us!
