All right, ladies. We’re gonna get our BBQ on while we have a nice chat at Truth BBQ. I don’t eat at BBQ restaurants often, but I do appreciate a good Texas BBQ joint with great smoked brisket and yummy sides. And one of my favorite places for BBQ in Houston is Truth BBQ.

Truth BBQ is one of those places that you line up early to get your freshly-smoked BBQ by 11 am unless you want to wait in a *long* line, and they sell it until they run out of it. **So we are going to line up at 10:45 am** (so we aren’t at the end of the line) and will hopefully be sitting down to eat by 11:15 am. **If you are running late, you'll have to wait in line for the counter service by yourself**. :) Look for us at a table inside their large seating area once you get through the line.

Truth BBQ meats include chopped brisket, smoked pork ribs, smoked turkey breast, pull pork, and smoked sausage (several types). Their side include Brussel sprouts, coleslaw, corn pudding, green beans, Mac & Cheese, pinto beans, homemade pickles, potato salad and tater tot casserole. Their desserts include banana pudding, brownies, and cakes like banana caramel, carrot, coconut, German chocolate, Italian cream, pumpkin spice and red velvet. They have a fairly big parking lot that hopefully won’t be full since we are getting there early.
