We’re eating our way through every culture Houston has to offer.

This time we’re stepping into the world of the Izakaya: Japanese eateries where people gather to eat, drink, and socialize.

This won’t be a typical sushi dinner. Think yakitori fresh off the grill, warm soba noodles, curry rice, and other dishes from the menu.

Menu:

This is a small dinner group (usually around 8 people) meant for people who enjoy tasting new foods and having good conversation.

How dinner will work:
Everyone orders their own dish. If the group is interested, we may order an appetizer for the table as well.

Estimated cost:
Most people will probably spend around $30, depending on what you order.

This isn’t a networking event or a loud bar night, just a relaxed dinner with people who enjoy exploring Houston’s food scene. Come hungry and open-minded.

Refundable Depost:

  • Each attendee pays a $5 deposit to reserve their seat.
  • The deposit is refunded when you arrive at the dinner.
  • If someone cancels early (48+ hours before), they can get the deposit back.

The deposit is only there to help me get an accurate headcount for restaurant reservations. If you’re planning to attend and would rather not do a deposit, feel free to DM me and I can add you manually.
