We’re taking over a table at Istanbul Grill & Deli, widely known as Houston’s oldest Turkish restaurant. Join us for a social dinner exploring Turkish cuisine and traveling the world through food.

Expect dishes like döner kebab, spicy Adana kebab, grilled tavuk şiş, lahmacun, hummus, sautéed mantar, and sweet baklava to finish the meal.

This is a small dinner group meant for people who enjoy tasting new foods and having good conversation.

How dinner will work:
We’ll order a variety of small plates for the table and share everything family-style so everyone can try a range of dishes.

Estimated cost:
We will probably spend around $30-35 per person including tax and tip, depending on what we order. Please bring cash or have Zelle or Venmo available in case we need to split the bill among the group.

This isn’t a networking event or a loud bar night. It’s a relaxed dinner with people who enjoy exploring Houston’s international food scene together.

Whether you’re new to the city or just looking to expand your circle, come hungry and open-minded.
