Eva M. Zsigmond received her PhD in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, Canada, followed by postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine. Her professional career includes associate professor and director of the Transgenic and Stem Cells Core Laboratory at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In her current position at Houston Methodist Hospital, her focus is clinical trials related to cancer research. She is a long-time practitioner of meditation and yoga and has a keen interest in exploring the convergence between science and spirituality.
