Had to reschedule, sorry!

Recently, I had the opportunity to work on a little freelance project that allows fans to purchase autographed memorabilia directly from professional athletes, and professional athletes to keep their autographs and signed products authentic ( https://fanflow.com ). The project keeps prices low and the product authentic.

There were some pretty interesting challenges to building said platform, which is a social and ecommerce platform powered by some pretty flashy buzzwords:

TypeScript, Preact, FuseBox, PostCSS, immutable deployments, Docker, Responsive Web Design, GraphQL

We'll even implement a language/parser to batch and multiplex queries toa GraphQL endpoint ():-)

Stemming from these projects is a whole host of other tech, including a homemade observable-based state-management structure, a ground-up CSS framework, an observable-based server-side Node.js framework, caching libraries, service workers (oh my!)...

Let's take a walk (on the beach? on the wild side?) and dig into some really deep implementations and lessons-learned dogfooding one's own patterns and libraries to use on a project, and learn from the speaker's failures. :-)
