Knockout.js and Client Side Roundtable

I will start off the night with an introduction to knockout.js. This will be code focused as we build out several client side scenarios. I tried out Ember.js for a particular project. I was very frustrated. Upon a suggestion from fellow houston.js member, Austin Fatheree, I decided to take another look at knockout. I swapped out my ember.js code and started using knockout.js that night, and haven't looked back. As I code, I will discuss where knockout fits in the broader scope of your application and compared to other frameworks I've used.

After the knockout talk, we will transition into a client side framework roundtable. People can talk about their favorite frameworks, the pluses and minuses. Also others can ask questions if they are about to start down a certain path and want advice.
