Title of Talk:
Workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow and integration with Java applications

Abstract:
Subha will discuss the architecture and components of Apache Airflow, which defines workflows using Python. We will explore Airflow’s extensibility, which allows for the integration of Java applications through provider packages. These packages facilitate JDBC and MS SQL connectivity and support integration with various applications, including Apache Kafka. Additionally, we’ll examine how Apache Airflow’s core Bash Operators execute tasks and invoke Java applications. This demonstrates Airflow’s capability for workflow orchestration in diverse environments.
Finally, I invite the audience to share their experiences with other data and workflow orchestration tools to foster an interactive presentation.
