Hey there, fellow pianists! 🎹
This group is for people who enjoy playing piano for others in an informal and supportive setting. All skill levels and genres are welcome. Share your classical masterpieces, jazz improv, or original compositions.
Our meetups are about giving you a chance to showcase your pieces in front of a friendly audience. This is the perfect setting to practice performance skills. Some members play partially completed pieces and that is OK. Whether you are currently taking piano lessons, or just getting back into it, we hope to see you at a future meetup.
Meeting information:
- We aim to meet in person every 5-6 weeks on weekend afternoons.
- Each member will have the opportunity to perform a piece lasting up to 10 minutes. If time permits, we will play multiple rounds.
- We will offer light refreshments if the venue allows.
- Face masks are optional during our meetings. If you have been feeling unwell in recent days, we kindly request that you prioritize your health and recovery before attending an event.
