Reading Party (Heights)

Please donate $2 to $5 for our meetup dues that will charge on January 12, 2026. GoFundMe - Houston Reading Parties - Meetup Renewal Fund. [We just used previously raised funds to pay dues on 7/12/25). Dues of $190 are due every six months!]

Bring a book or anything you want to read. We’ll start with 15 minutes of friendly greetings but soon get into 30 minutes of reading, then brief talking (20 minutes), and then back to reading. This is meant to be friendly, casual, and social.

Common Bond Bistro & Bakery (Heights) has coffee, alcohol, brunch/lunch food, pastries, etc. It has a pretty big parking lot. I can't see people not finding a space, but if it happens to be full, there is plenty of legal and free neighborhood parking, especially on Sundays. Still, watch signs and be careful where you park.

I’ll post my phone # in this event’s discussion area closer to the meeting date. I also have a red meetup sign that I'll have at the table with me so you can find the group.
