Reading Party (Upper Kirby)

Note: This outside event will be canceled if it rains on this date. (But I'm optimistic it won't).

Bring a book or anything you want to read. We’ll start with a few minutes of friendly greetings but soon get into 30 minutes of reading, then brief talking (20 minutes), and then back to reading. This is meant to be friendly, casual, and social.

It's awesome! Plenty of seating w/ tables. There is a SlowPokes nearby if you want coffee or a drink. There's also a little food venue right in the park. There is parking for the park, but if it's taken up, try to park in the surrounding neighborhoods. Watch signs to make sure you select legal parking.

I’ll post my phone # and photo in this event’s chat closer to the meeting date. I also have a red meetup sign that I'll have at the table with me so you can find the group.
