Held monthly, this engaging series covers topics ranging from marine mammal rescue to habitat restoration, giving attendees an inside look at the critical efforts shaping our Gulf shores."

Prevention Department Chief
Kelley Brown has over 17 years of experience working in marine safety with the US Coast Guard. She has lived and worked in the ports of Corpus Christi, Mobile, and now in Houston. She has a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in fire protection engineering and currently serves as the Chief of the Prevention Department at Sector Houston Galveston. Day to Day she and her team work to ensure the safety, security, and environmental protection across the port of Houston by conducting vessel and facility inspections, investigations, and managing waterway risks across the area.
