We are a traditional shamanism group that has been meeting for ceremony for 23 years in the Houston area. ***Our event times and dates have changed for 2026. Please Review All Changes Below. We suggest that you subscribe to Meetup messages to receive updates on upcoming events.

September 26 6 to 8 PM $10 Full Moon Healing Drumming Circle at 2115 Turner Drive in Houston
November 28 6 to 8 PM $10 Annual Friendsgiving Potluck and Drumming Circle at 2115 Turner Drive in Houston
We meet at 2115 Turner Drive, Houston, TX, 77093, TX inside the orange brick church building. * We are not a church sponsored group, and are not endorsed by the National Spiritualist Association of Churches.
Doors open at 6:00 PM and event begins at 6:30 PM. Please give yourself plenty of time to drive in and get settled before ceremony. Doors Locked by 6:45 PM.
Parking is free, by the way. We do suggest you RSVP early via this Meetup site and we kindly request a $10.00 donation per person attending. This helps pay for the use of our indoor meeting space, as well as the the Meetup advertising fees, which is our main source of advertising.

Our Contemporary Women's Shamanic Healing and Wisdom Circle will meet for a Summer Solstice Week gathering at 2115 Turner Drive, in Houston Texas on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
**This event meets indoors inside the main chapel of the First Spiritualist Church of Houston at the corner of Aldine Westfield Road and Turner Drive. There is ample, free parking inside the gated area. We are not a church-affiliated organization.COST

We will focus on healing any issues involving our Solar Plexus (our personal seat of power) in a guided meditation designed to awaken your passion, inner fire, and creativity.
Please bring a meditation shawl or light blanket, a bottle of water and a journal if you'd like. If you do not have a drum or rattle, no worries. We have a few you may use in circle.

As a community, we will meet indoors at 2115 Turner Drive, at the corner of Aldine Westfield Drive and Turner Drive, inside the main chapel of the First Spiritualist Church of Houstonstarting at 6 PM. Event ends around 8:30 to 9 PM (extended time).
Tonight's theme for the traditional journey ceremony is "Awaken Your Inner Shaman." If it's been a while since you've attended a traditional shamanic circle, or if it's your first time to utilize trance posture journeys, we hope you will attend and discover what Houston Shamanism is all about.
