Join the Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter for an online discussion about priority issues for the Texas Legislature in 2027.

Although the legislature doesn't meet in 2026, there's plenty of action going on, and we need your help building grassroots power and momentum before the 90th Texas Legislature convenes in 2027. In many ways, this interim year is when the foundation for future legislation is established. During the meeting, we’ll discuss what issues we need the Texas House and Senate to research, as well as the solutions we think the legislature should prioritize next year.

Some of those issues include:
Tackling the affordability crisis through clean energy.
Protecting water resources for people and the environment.
Making sure polluters pay for their mess.
And more!
