May 18 Program:
Plants Don't Like To Be Eaten: What We've Learned from Our Insects, Native Plants, and Pollinator Gardens
Krysten Garcia will relate her experience with supporting monarch butterflies and will show her time lapse video of a butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. Then other member and participants will discuss personal experience with their own pollinator gardens and native plants.
Krysten Garcia is an educator and former school teacher, and is currently a candidate for the Board of the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD).
Bay Area meetings are on 3rd Wednesday of the month, and start at 6:30pm for social hour; speaker and discussion from 7-8:30 pm.
