Welcome to Houston Phoenix Soccer Club (HPSC)! We are one of Houston's largest and most active soccer pick up group on Meetup. Fun, fitness & making new friends are what we're all about.
HOUSEKEEPING:
We are one of the most active pick-up group in Houston with nice sized goals for matches. On top of that, I purchase balls, pennies and other supplies for our Meetup. It just makes our pickup much more experiential", haha.
I NEED YOUR HELP TO SUSTAIN THIS GROUP: no longer collecting
the money for games, unless they are reserved fields. I am a licensed Realtor and seasoned investor. Get to know me and do this:
Refer me who needs following

As a general rule, we will start the first game as soon as there are enough for 6v6, 8v8, or 9v9 (12-18 ppl). Seems 9v9 is ideal; any more than that results in overpacked games. Just join in if you arrive late as long as it doesn't overcrowd the game.

Pick up after yourself. Do not leave any trash behind please!
GAME RULES:
IMPORTANT: You must RSVP to play!!
This is crucial in keeping head count and giving members an idea of how many will attend and how to split the teams. I will cancel the Meetup if we do not have at least 10 RSVPs, which I rarely had to do.

Practice good sportsmanship please! We are not paid to play so let's keep language, fair play and calls in line.

Absolutely no slide tackling, unnecessary roughness or fighting. You will be ejected from the group.
