Details

Tour the Ion Prototyping Lab and meet the Houston Robotics Group!

~ Visiting the Ion Prototyping Lab in Houston ~

At 6:00 you also can join us for a ride on the Metro Rail to eat at various establishments in downtown Houston-on-the-Bayou!

You can park in the lot right in front of the Ion...the gate should be open. Don't park on top of the orange cones or any carbon life forms.

The parking lot is at 4211 Fannin Street. Use that address in Google to visit the Ion and your journey will be simpler!

When Google says you are at 4211 Fannin Street, the parking lot will be to your right. You can also park in the lot across the street.

If you find yourself on Eagle street, you did not go far enough down Fannin. Get back on Fannin and continue 1/2 block. Eagle is a two-way street so you CAN turn around to get back on Fannin.

Parking is free for three hours and 5 bucks after that.

For Saturday meetings, the Ion front doors will be locked. Press the RED call button to the right of the front door and tell the guard you are visiting the Houston Robotics Meeting and they will buzz you in.

The lab is in the far back corner to the right on the first floor.

Click the link below for instructions to open gates and doors, pictures, and maps.
