Conversational UX - With Liz Rodwell

Details

Over the last year, the commercialization of AI implementation has expanded the technology's use case in incredible and unanticipated ways. This has allowed for a dramatic bump to the AI user base, who now find themselves interfacing with AI in an ever-growing assortment of ways. And of course, where there are users, there is UX.

Join Dr. Liz Rodwell, live at PROS, as she guides us through a critical point at the intersection of UX and AI: Conversational UX. During the event, we will explore some of the ways conversational UX is being used in the US and abroad, what some of the challenges with this interface are, and what the future might hold for this technology.

Elizabeth Rodwell is an Assistant Professor of Digital Media and the founding director of the User Experience (UX) Lab (https://uxlab.egr.uh.edu/) at the University of Houston. Her work has been funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, Fulbright, National Science Foundation, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and Social Science Research Council. Liz is currently studying the intersection of conversational artificial intelligence and UX in the U.S. and Japan. Her first book, Push the Button: Interactive Television and Collaborative Journalism in Japan, is available anywhere books are sold.
