Happy New Year, HUXters! We hope you’re settling into the year and feeling energized for what’s ahead.

Your HUXPA Board has been hard at work shaping our roadmap for the year—and along the way, we caught ourselves in a classic UX misstep: we realized we weren’t designing for the most important audience. You! So, in true agile fashion, we pivoted.

We’re inviting you to join the HUXPA Board for a hands-on, highly collaborative workshop to help shape our roadmap for the year ahead. This is not a panel or a lecture. Instead, your board—guided by a Luma-certified facilitator—will lead you through engaging design thinking exercises to explore:

• The skills and conversations you want more of
• The events and experiences you’re excited to participate in
• The challenges in the UX world you’d like to see addressed
• What you want from your Houston UX community

We’re thrilled to host this new style of event and hope you’ll come ready to think, collaborate, and share your ideas. The outcomes of this workshop will directly influence the programs, themes, and initiatives you’ll see from HUXPA throughout the year.
