What we’re about

All intelligent investing is value investing. Value investing is not just restricted to stocks but literally about buying any business. It's a 90+ year strategy introduced by Warren Buffet's mentor Ben Graham who was investing during the great depression in 1930's.

Every business has a value perceived by the market which is the price reflected in the stock market, and then every business have an intrinsic value which is actual value. Intrinsic value of a business is quite subjective to measure, since each of us could have a different value depending on how much we know about the business. But if we get it right, sooner or later the market agrees with us. This is the fundamental strategy used by all the great investors like Warren Buffet, Seth Klarman, Howard Marks, Monish Pabrai, Michael Burry and many more.

I want to invite my Houston fellow investors and enthusiasts to come and discuss about investing in the stock market. I think we can learn from each other, even if you're totally new the stock market you can learn by meeting new people. I have been personally investing in the stock market for a year using this strategy and my annualized return so far has been 37%. So I'm beating the market this year so far.
