IMPORTANT NOTE: We will be meeting in the 3rd floor recital hall at Awty International School, instead of in their Cafeteria. When you exit the parking lot, go north; the cafeteria will be on your left. Take the outside stairwell adjacent to the maker space to the 3rd floor, and follow the posted signs from there.
VR isn’t just another screen — it’s a fundamentally different storytelling medium. Like the pioneers of silent film, today’s VR creators are inventing a new narrative language in real time. This talk explores what the medium gives us, what it takes away, and how recent VR experiences reveal the emerging grammar of immersive storytelling.
We'll have a number of VR narratives on hand to experience, and as always, we'll cover the latest AR and VR news.
