Beginners Yang Style Tai Chi

Saturday prime time class to test response for future weekend classes.
Introductory class for newcomers to learn the basic principles of Yang Style Tai Chi. Classes are taught in a relaxed but small group format to ensure quality time and instruction. The two-hour class will mostly focus on the Yang Style Long Form, but will also cover Tai Chi Ball and Push Hands as understanding them are key to a well-rounded practice of Tai Chi.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age. A comfortable short sleeve shirt and yoga pants or similar are encouraged for wear. No outdoor shoes are allowed in the practice area so please bring comfy socks or cotton-soled shoes. Please do not eat or drink more than modestly for 2 hours in advance as your legs and stomach will get a workout.
Classes are taught at a private residence with a dedicated training area near Tully Stadium, exact directions will be sent out after RSVPs close Friday afternoon.
