Language Exchange Speed Friending at Public Library (Galleria)

Details
This is a joint speed-friending event with the Houston Public Library, Jungman branch (Galleria area).
Description: Would you teach someone your native language in exchange for practicing English with that person? (For instance: I'll teach you Spanish for 1/2 hour if you teach me a 1/2 hour of English, or I'll help you practice an hour of Mandarin if you help me practice an hour of English. Partners usually meet at a library or coffee shop once or twice a week.) A one-to-one language exchange is the quickest and most fun way to learn and practice English at no cost, by meeting weekly with an American English speaking partner at a coffee shop or library.
This free event is a chance for people to meet others looking for language exchange partners in Houston, and get a few minutes of real life experience practicing English and teaching each other. By the end of this event, you will increase your chances of finding a language exchange partner for practicing English, and everyone who has never experienced language exchange before will be more comfortable doing it.
Make new friends, learn to speak better English, learn new words, and achieve new goals! This is a public event, and all are welcome to the free speed-friending events both inside and outside of the group. No registration is required, so feel free to bring anyone you like. This is a joint meetup with the Houston Language Partners (https://www.meetup.com/HoustonLanguagePartners/) group and the Houston Public Library.
The Jungman Branch Public Library is near the Galleria at 5830 Westheimer in 77057. Note: This is a library sanctioned event in partnership with the Houston Public Library, and we will be in the large meeting room.
