Be ready to participate with introductions and discussions of strategies to build the FileMaker community in the Houston area.
We will have another open discussion and “Cool Solutions” topics. And, be sure to bring your FileMaker roadblocks and solutions. They could be very helpful for others.
The agenda is as follows:
- General introductions and networking
- Presentation: 360Deploy presented by Jesse Barnum of 360Works
- Open discussion: reach out and bring any FileMaker roadblocks and solutions to discuss with the group
- Meeting review and close
- More networking (time permitting)
360deploy is a tool to maintain a separated development system and production system. It makes it easy to deploy from the development to live production with the click of a button or two.
Topics to be discussed:
- An overview of 360Deploy capabilities
- How 360Deploy's new licensing model works
- How to install 360Deploy on Linux, Mac, and Windows
- How to deploy a development solution from your development server to one or more production servers
- How to deploy a development solution from a local, non-hosted file to one or more production servers
- How to automate your deployment using FileMaker Server Script Schedules
- How to manage your licensed deployment servers when your environments change
