Bus Trip: Tour HERITAGE VILLAGE and enjoy a Texas family/home style lunch!

This trip is a 'get out of town' adventure. Learn a little Texas history and experience a little Texas geography in the Piney Woods area. Located one mile west of Woodville on Highway 190, Heritage Village Museum is a replica village of the pioneer days with a collection of buildings and artifacts depicting a small farm and timber community of the mid-1800s to about 1920.

The world famous Pickett House Restaurant serves boarding house style all you can eat fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, country vegetables, cobbler, biscuits and cornbread and all different condiments for your liking. For dessert we will have cobbler with bluebell ice cream. Drinks are also included - water, tea and sodas. The Pickett House still is one of the best homestyle eating places in all of Texas. Folks come from all over, some even fly in by plane, to enjoy a meal here.

This is a Zoomer event: The all inclusive fee is $40. Included are the all you can eat meal, taxes, gratuity, and admissions. Wear comfortable shoes. We will stop at Buc-ee's both ways. The distance is 138 miles.
