Please join us Friday to enjoy the beauty of The Azalea Trail.

Bayou Bend will be open Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM. We will meet at 6003 Memorial Drive and park our cars and then walk towards the back of the parking lot. There will be a suspension bridge and we will meet before the entrance to the bridge. After we cross the bridge we will arrive as a table where there will be ladies waiting to sell us tickets which will cost $35.00.
This ticket will be your entrance to all locations so you need to be careful and get it punched at each location.

If you want to visit the Ima Hogg Residence, you should go there after you enter as there will be a long line. This will be a self-guided tour, or you can join us as we tour the grounds. We plan on touring as much of the gardens as possible.

Bathrooms if needed are located in the Cottage Shop to the West of the Historic Home.

Please wear comfortable shoes, bring water, your smiles and your patience.

Then at 11.35 am we will wait at the entrance next to the guard house close to Lazy Lane to visit the next stop at Reinz on 1406 Kirby and we will walk as a group to the entrance and plan on spending 20 minutes.
We will then walk back to Bayou Bend and either walk or drive to The Black Walnut for lunch at 5512 Memorial. The sidewalks around Black Walnut are uneven so watch your steps.

Attached is the menu for the Black Walnut:

We will then drive to tour the gardens only, no home at Tanglewood at the following addresses:
We will wait across the street for all to show up.

5621 Tupper Lake Lane,77056
410 Pine Shadows 77056
102 Maple Valley Road 77056
333 Little John Lane 77024

We will visit the Forum of Civics at 2503 Memorial on our own time since this stop is free and does not require a ticket to get in.
