The flagship Japan Festival Houston takes place on September 12–13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily at Hermann Park and the Miller Outdoor Theatre (evening performances on Saturday at Miller Outdoor Theatre).
Location: Japanese Garden at Hermann Park & Miller Outdoor Theatre.
Houston Admission: Free
Highlights: Traditional music, dance, martial arts, tea ceremonies, bonsai, Ikebana displays, and special guest performances hosted by the Japan-America Society of Houston.

We may have lunch at the park. It will probably be hot so you may want to bring: comfy shoes, water bottle, sunblock, umbrella and $$$.
Hostess will be leaving by 3pm.
