An urban trek from HEB at Heights Blvd & Washington Ave heading west to the Eastern Glades @ Memorial Park.

Group meets at front outside corner of HEB, see photos - it’s where the coffee shop used to be...
As all over Houston, route will be a mix of original homes still hiding amongst the new.
We'll go into the Eastern Glades, lake, and Boardwalk then return.
Should be right at 6 miles. All major crossings will be with pedestrian lights or at least a wide median so as to cross only one direction at a time.
Surfaces will be concrete, grass, and boardwalk. Sun and shade, some blocks of streets lot of shade.
What to Bring: Hat, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Water, Snacks
No dogs allowed on hikes.
