Morning Walk~Memorial Park~Bayou Wilds West Trails~6miles

Have to pay $2.20 to park. I recommend the app-makes it very easy. If you park across Memorial, give yourself time to walk over. We meet on the front steps of running center, please see photos.

This covers the Bayou Wilds West Trails (commonly referred to as the colored trails). Lot of shade, some open areas. Outer trails mostly flat but be prepared for tree roots on inner sections. Some scattered short slopes and climbs, some people like a hiking stick.

Have water and sun protection, shady in the woods but will have sunny parts, dress for weather. Restrooms and water at running center.
