Friday Evening Hike~Memorial Park Loop Trail (6 Miles)

NOTE: Group will meet in front of Tennis Center building located @ 1500 E Memorial Loop Dr. Look for hikers gathered near bench in front of building.

Parking: plenty of free parking along Memorial Loop Dr. If you park in parking lot directly in front of Tennis Center building you must pay for parking @ ticket machine. Ticket machine only accepts credit cards. You can use the Park Houston app and not mess with paying at kiosk.

The park can get crowded in the evening~allow extra time for parking.

We will leave together as a group from Tennis Center building. Hike begins promptly @ 7PM.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed @ events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

Path: We will walk twice around the Leibermann loop.

What to Bring: Water, Flashlight, Bug spray.

Shoes: Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type running shoes will do.

Restrooms: Restrooms near tennis courts and along running trail.

Do not leave valuables in your car. Leave valuables @ home or place them in your trunk PRIOR to arriving @ park.
