Morning Walk~ Menil Park/Montrose Area (6 Miles)

Group will gather in parking lot located @ 1507 W Alabama St. Parking is FREE and it is on the corner of W Alabama and Mulberry St. There should be plenty of weekday parking available.

From Menil Park, we walk in and out of different Montrose neighborhood streets and stroll through St. Thomas University to get our steps in.

Menil Park is bounded by Sul Ross, Yupon, Branard and Mulberry, within site of the parking lot. This area is lined with early 20th century bungalows & shaded by live oak trees.

Please bring & drink plenty of water.

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Any athletic sports type shoe will do. This is an older neighborhood with uneven sidewalks. We will be walking on concrete.

No restrooms or water fountains along walking path.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.
