Sunday Evening Walk thru Briargrove Park/Rivercrest Area (6+ Miles)

Join Houston Urban Trekkers for an evening walk thru the Briargrove Park/ Rivercrest area. For this hike, I am keeping the group small. Rivercrest is a very exclusive neighborhood, avg. home price is 6.1M.
Group will meet @ Mary Ann Francklow park located @ 1300 Seagler. Park has a small lot with about 10 parking spots. If you can't find a spot, park along a side street and walk over. There's street parking available on Seagler in front of adjacent apartments.
Hike begins promptly @ 5PM.
Bring a 🔦Flashlight. Neighborhood has lamp posts but we may walk thru some unlit areas.
Hiking Path: we will walk the different neighborhood streets to get our steps in~ then return to parking area. The plan is to walk the neighborhood streets north of the park. We will then walk along Briar Forest making our way to the Rivercrest area.
Wear comfortable walking shoes. We will be walking on concrete. Any supportive sports-type shoe will do.
Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.
No restrooms @ park or along hiking path. Water fountain available @ park prior to hike.
