Sunday Hike along White Oak Bayou- Meet @ TC Jester Park (6 Miles)

This hike begins & ends @ T.C. Jester Park located near Saxon Dr. and W. T.C. Jester Blvd.

Map Pin Shows correct meeting location. Meet group in front of restrooms.

This is an out & back hike- we'll hike north along White Oak Bayou towards the Watonga Blvd Bat Bridge Colony then continue on towards W. Little York Rd. & return, totalling 6 miles.

Sunset 7:48PM. I plan to have group back at parking lot by 7PM.

We will be walking on concrete, wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports-type shoe will do.

Bring water, bug spray, hat, sunscreen.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed on hikes on any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

Restrooms available beginning of hike @ T.C. Jester Park, although they are often closed. Port-a-potty in parking lot. No restrooms or water fountains available along hiking path.

Parking available @ T.C. Jester Park. Some street parking. You can also park across the street in the neighborhood and walk over.

Car Break-Ins are a huge problem in Houston. Do Not Leave Valuables in Your Car. Leave valuables @ home or lock them in your trunk PRIOR to leaving home.
