Sunday Hike (5 Miles) Terry Hershey- NEW MEETING LOCATION

Join Houston Urban Trekkers for a Sunday walk @ Terry Hershey park.

Path: From meeting spot, we will hike towards Dairy Ashford Rd & return.

Hike begins promptly @ 5PM.

NOTE Meeting spot, Rustling Pines Neighborhood. 13303 Indian Creek Rd. Map pin is correct.

PARKING: you can park along Indian Creek Rd. Additional parking available along the streets in neighborhood.

Meet group in front of the Indian Creek Rd/ Wilcrest Dr Intersection. If you are standing at intersection~ this is the WEST side of the intersection.

This is an out & back hike on a combination asphalt/dirt trail.

Pace: 3 miles/hr.

What to Bring: Water, Bug Spray

Do not bring your dog. Dogs are not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

Shoes: Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type shoe will do.

Restrooms: No restrooms @ meeting point. No Restrooms along hiking path.

Car break-ins are a big problem in Houston- esp. @ hiking trails.

Do not Leave Valuables in Your Car. It's best to not leave anything visible (regardless of value) in your vehicle. Leave Valuables @ home or lock them in your vehicle PRIOR to leaving home.
