Evening Walk~Texas Avenue Historic Plaques, Market Square Area~6 Miles

I was born downtown 68 years ago, so like to do a downtown walk in my birth month.
Please see in photos where to park and meet, parking lot right across from Platypus.
Route: Head to Texas Avenue, walk a mile down & mile back. We'll pass each of the 50+ plaques. Thoroughly reading each one would get tedious, but with a quick glance and taking pictures you'll get the full experience.
I have photos of all of them from a previous event, I can tell you what they are, we then walk additional steps around downtown and the bayou to make it 6 miles.
Per photo - we go out on the red line I drew and back on green.
If you’d like to go in POST on the way back, it’s just a straight short way back to Platypus. If you’ve never been in there, I recommend a look.
Sunset is 7:52, so mostly light til near the end.
As always, check weather, dress accordingly, have water, sun protection, hat, etc...
