Sun. Evening Hike~White Oak Bayou (North) 5+ Miles

This hike begins & ends from REEL SEAFOOD restaurant located at 2030 E TC Jester Blvd. Plenty of free parking.

Please do not leave valuables in your car, and if you must, put them in your trunk PRIOR to arriving in parking area.

This will be an out & back hike along White Oak Bayou on a paved concrete trail. We will head north towards TC Jester Park & return.

Hike begins promptly 6PM.

Sunset 8:16PM. I plan to have group back at parking area before dark.

Hiking Pace: 3 miles/HR.

Restrooms & water fountain available mid hike, although restrooms are sometimes closed. We will stop for a short 10 minute break mid hike.

No restroom/water fountain available prior to hike.

Bring: Bug Spray, Water, Hat

Shoes: Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type running shoe will do. We will be walking on a concrete sidewalk.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.
