Join Houston Urban Trekkers for a morning walk @ Willow Waterhole~ it's located in the Westbury area near the intersection of South Post Oak Rd and South Main St. see in photos - at end of walk we can individually decide to make it 5.5 or 7 miles.

There are recent upgrades to Willow Waterhole, new paved trails all over! No restrooms at park~ use restroom prior to arriving at park.
There are huge new convenience stores with zesty restrooms on Post Oak which we can easily get to on the trail, see in photos/maps.

Please see photos, we meet at end of Dryad, which is a dead end you can only get to from Chimney Rock.

Willow Waterhole consists of 291 acres and is a combination of recreational green space and a series of wet-bottom detention lakes.

Hike begins Promptly 8:30 am. Group will leave parking area together as a group to begin hike.

Wear comfortable walking shoes. We will be walking on concrete. Part of path is gravel. Any supportive sports-type shoe will do.

Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray. No water fountains @ meeting point or along trail.

Wear a Hat, there is NO SHADE (see satellite view in photos) along trail.

No dogs. Dogs are not allowed at any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

Houston is notorious for car break-ins. DO NOT leave valuables visible in your vehicle. It's best to not leave anything visible, regardless of value.
