Hike White Oak Bayou (North) 6 Miles~Meet @ REEL SEAFOOD

REEL SEAFOOD restaurant is located in same parking lot of Restaurant Depot. Attached map pin is correct.

Group will meet in front of REEL SEAFOOD restaurant and leave parking lot area together as a group.

Hike begins promptly 5 PM.

No Restrooms/No Water Fountains along hiking trail. Restrooms are not available @ meeting location.

Car Break-Ins are a big problem in Houston, esp. near hiking trails.

Please do not leave valuables in your car, and if you must, put them in your trunk PRIOR to arriving @ parking area.

This will be an out & back hike along White Oak Bayou on a paved concrete trail. We will hike North towards TC Jester park & return. We will take a quick 5 minute break once we reach park.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed on any hikes hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

What to Bring: Water, Hat, Sunscreen, Bug Spray

Shoes: Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type running shoe will do.

Hiking Pace: 3 miles/hr.
