Friday Hike thru West University Place (6 Miles)

West University Place is a beautiful area that dates back to 1917.

We will walk in & out of the different neighborhood streets of making our way to Evelyn's park. At Evelyn's we will take a short break then make our way back to Kroger.

Hike begins PROMPTLY 7 PM. Group leaves parking lot area together as a group. If you arrive late~ you will not find group at meeting location.

Wear comfortable walking/running shoes. Any supportive sports type shoe will do.

This hike begins & ends in the dark.

Bring a Flashlight. Neighborhood has lamp posts but we may walk thru some dim areas.

Bring water! No water fountains along walking path.

Pace: 3miles/hr.

Do not bring your dog. Dogs not allowed @ any events hosted by Houston Urban Trekkers.

Restrooms available (prior to hike) inside Krogers. Restrooms @ Evelyn's may or may not be open.
