AI Proof Jobs - and Preparing for AGI/ASI

Join us for our kick off meeting!
This will be a short introduction meeting, with a 20 minute presentation, about 10 minutes for polls, and 30 minutes for discussion.
I will present some hypothesis about AI proof careers, for AI/ML engineers, software engineers, non-technical, as well as other occupations that are safe for the time being. I'll briefly cover my startups work in cancer research/drug discovery and how that field will be impacted.
I will show how to create an action plan that will minimize your risk. You'll see my timelines for AGI/ASI backed by data, as well as guestimates of when major impacts will happen to various careers.
You'll hear about the hype train and how unrealistic expectations lead to mass layoffs.
I'll show you how to build a predictive model for disaster (including job displacement due to AI), models for events that haven't happened yet and one has a set of priors and guestimates.
I'll share my personal plan and what some of my goals are that will help minimize the impact AGI/ASI will have on my financial health, and potentially help me stay ahead of the train.
We'll have a number of polls to measure how our members feel about the coming impacts, and how well prepared everyone is.
And depending on how many attend, we'll try to give everyone 3-4 minutes to share your preparation plan, feedback / opinions on the timelines.
