A Free Online Taster - Proficient Perspective Drawing using the iPad, Apple Pencil and Procreate app.

• Ever wanted to learn how to draw, but never had the time?
• Can’t draw a straight line?
• Want to use your iPad creatively?

Using the Procreate app and Apple pencil, you will come away confident in making your own creations from scratch. Join me in helping you create your very own digital drawing. No prior drawing experience required. Just your iPad, Procreate app and Apple Pencil. The principles taught in this session can be applied to creating your very own ancient alleyways, building exteriors, and many other environments.

HOW IT WORKS
You will receive instructions for each step through Skype on your computer while you work on your iPad. Hence, it's very important to have the Procreate app installed and operating, and ensuring your Apple Pencil can make basic lines.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This workshop will offer you an introduction to the basic functions of the Procreate app using your iPad and Apple Pencil. We will also be analysing a number of photographs and famous works of art.

• Create straight lines, perfect curves and circles using the Apple Pencil and Procreate’s auto correct settings.
• Customise Procreate’s brush palette and create your very own brushes to enhance pencil and brush strokes for your Apple Pencil.
• Configure the quick menu. This will allow you to instantly choose between various brushes using your Apple Pencil to improve your workflow.
• Understand the theory of a one point perspective using Procreate’s perspective drawing guide and Apple Pencil.
• Identify and recognise a one point perspective in any setting.
• Draw a kitchen using one point perspective.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

• An iPad
• An Apple Pencil
• The Procreate 5 App
• A computer with Skype

REQUIRED ACTION
You will have access to the to the Skype link for the online event once you sign up. Test the link on your computer as soon as you can to ensure smooth entry on the day.

ABOUT ME

I’m an artist who has a calm and relaxed attitude toward teaching art, while ensuring that every lesson is taught with attention to detail.

I have a number of commissioned pieces under my belt. I ‘m an expert at Photoshop and using Procreate on the iPad. I have been teaching art related workshops for a number of years including “using Photoshop like an artist”.

I have studied at LARA (the London Atelier School of Representational Art) for four years.
