A £2 Online Taster - Proficient Perspective Drawing for the Apple iPad

THIS CLASS IS FOR APPLE iPAD USERS ONLY WITH AN APPLE PENCIL! The equivalent Procreate app does not exist for Android, even though their app has the same name and icon.

• Ever wanted to learn how to draw, but never had the time?
• Can’t draw a straight line?
• Want to use your iPad creatively?

Come away confident in making your own creations from scratch. Join me in helping you create your very own digital drawing of a kitchen. No prior drawing experience required. The principles taught in this session can be applied to creating your very own ancient alleyways, building exteriors, and many other environments.

HOW IT WORKS
You will receive instructions for each step through Skype on your computer/laptop while you work on your iPad.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Create a basic one point perspective drawing of a kitchen on your iPad using the app's drawing guide.

ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT

• An iPad
• An Apple Pencil or stylus pen
• The Procreate 5 App
• A computer with Skype

REQUIRED ACTION
You will have access to the to the Skype link for the online event once you sign up. Please make sure you can access the Skype link at least 30 minutes before the time of the event to prevent any technical difficulties at the time of the event. There will be a cut off 10 minutes after the start time where no new attendees will be admitted.

ABOUT ME

I am a working artist who has a calm and relaxed attitude toward teaching art, while ensuring that every lesson is taught with attention to detail.

I have a number of commissioned pieces under my belt. I ‘m an expert at Photoshop and using Procreate on the iPad. I have been teaching art related workshops for a number of years including “using Photoshop like an artist”.

I have studied at LARA (the London Atelier School of Representational Art) for four years.

Once you complete this £2 taster session , you can then join my follow up classes where you will learn the finer points of the Procreate app and perspective including:

• Create straight lines, perfect curves and circles using the Apple Pencil and Procreate’s auto correct settings.
• Customise Procreate’s brush palette and create your very own brushes to enhance pencil and brush strokes for your Apple Pencil.
• Configure the quick menu.
• Understand the theory of perspective and apply it to your own work.
